Remodel
2017
This remodel began with the bathroom. Floor to ceiling lath and plaster that hadn't been touched in decades, an outdated tiny sink, and a leaky bathtub meant it was time to bring this part of the home into 2017. The lath and plaster was tore down to the studs, drywall put up, and wainscot over that. Additionally, a medicine cabinet that was an old family heirloom was hung above the sink.
After the bathroom was completed, we turned to the staircase. The treads needed to be reinforced from below, the handrail and balusters entirely replaced, and floor skinned. The client wanted something that felt significantly more modern than what she had before, and opted for white oak flooring with white stair parts. The end result is something that looks brighter, cleaner, and much for twenty-first century than what they had before.

"Working with Keaton has been a great experience. We've been delighted by his uncompromising workmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, aesthetic, creative problem-solving, and, of course, the finished product. I can't speak highly enough of his work, which we are lucky to see in our home every day."
